Bank of America (Ticker: BAC) was crushed today due to disappointment in their revenues.

Apple Inc. (AAPL) is holding on so far in the face of having to explain connection problems with their i-Phone 4.  Steve Jobs did good work today to quantify the extent of the problem and to offer compensation for those impacted.  The stock however is not yet clear to purchase in this market.

YRC Worldwide (YRCW) held on strongly throughout the day, until the close when it gave up a little ground.  We like this chart pattern considerably.  We sure wish that it wasn’t such a cheap stock on the edge of sanity for investing.  But the SMC is in it.  We have read numerous articles this week indicating that the deep recession in trucking may be over.

Arena Pharmaceuticals (ARNA) picked up lost ground yesterday with the help of a JP Morgan upgrade to a target of $6/share.
