  • I have been an SMC subscriber for about 9 months.
  • I appreciate SMC’s patient, measured approach. He demonstrates the staying power required to successfully invest over the long term, not getting too discouraged or elated about the failures and successes.
  • I have learned from SMC that it is possible to understand the market motion and that daily attentiveness to it does matter.  It has been very helpful to hear what factors influence the direction of the overall market and then to hear how SMC makes trades that are compatible with the direction of the overall market.
  • In the future I have a lot to learn from SMC in terms of how to select stocks with growth opportunities.

I have been researching stock market investing strategies for several years, both technical and fundamental.  Here are my thoughts about Stock Market Companion –

  • Eric is the best stock picker I have come across so far.  And there are not many that provide the level of fundamental and technical analysis that Eric does.
  • Using his S.I.M.P.L.E. investment system he is able find stocks with a catalyst to move higher and they often do within days if not minutes of his buy recommendation.
  • He likes to find low price stocks that have a significant fundamental story to propel them higher.  At such low prices they can hardly go lower and often go higher at much higher multiples than higher priced stocks.   He monitors the stock market throughout the day and issues email alerts when he thinks it is time to buy.
  • It has been a difficult market but I have made enough money in the past 6 months to pay for my subscription for the next couple years.   I am looking forward to the time when I can invest more money using Eric’s ‘Stock Market Companion’ service.

My 1styear with SMC, I was very conservative and skeptical.  I put only 2K as my initial investment.  After a year, that had grown to 3.5K.  During that time I had followed the investment strategies advanced by SMC and found very little reason to disagree with their suggestions.My thought was, if I had only put in 200K, I would have been standing on a 350K portfolio!  I then put in 175K, at the end of the 1styear and received a slower return – but as at the 7 month mark it is hovering at 195K.  I can’t conceive of any better investment opportunities in this economy.  With interest rates lagging and gold stagnant and real estate depressed, I can’t see why anyone would object to these gratifying returns with the safety of preserving principle by putting in pre-sell stops.E.
